Madras Boat Club triumphs

Madras Boat Club (MBC) boys and girls team consisting won the overall trophy at the Kolkata Rowing event for the Madras-Calcutta Millennium Championship Trophy. This event is hosted by Chennai and Kolkata in alternate years.

The boys team consisting of Rahul Baligha, Niranjan, Palaniappan, Arjun Anand, Rahul Gopinath (Cox) defeated the Kolkata team of Anurag Kar, Saddam Husain, Abheshek Basu, Indrinal Chowdhury, Ishan Phadmi s in the fours event by two lengths.
